Heya,
A couple of landmarks here. First, this is my 50th post with Socratic Design. I'm proud to have it announce the following: The new Divine Legacy website is up: http://www.divine-games.org/index.htm
This is one of several steps that bring my games closer to productions. I'll keep udates going here as things get closer to the release. Feedback is welcome! :)
Peace,
-Troy

Congrats, Troy! Milestones always are worth celebrating.
Quick DL site feedback: I think the nav button and logo fonts are a little too busy. The background and color scheme are fine. It also looks like you have placeholder text in place for your product descriptions.
I think this a very interesting direction/business model, so I'm keen to see how it goes. Maybe others will adopt it, like the Ransom model or the Patron model.
Good luck!
Heya,
Thanks for the feedback, mdk. I'll be the first to admit that my webskills are weak. The new site is a definate improvement over the first (which was REALLY gross), but it does need some tweaking. As far as the business model goes, the Ransom and Patron models are definately inspirational for me. I respect those guys a whole lot for trying. It would be great if mine were as successful. It's gonna be exciting to see, I think. I appreciate your encouragement! :)
Peace,
-Troy

I started reading your blog a few weeks ago and I find it very usefull since it opened my mind in game design.
So congrats!, I wish you very good luck!
