We drove across the country twice, spent 5 or 6 weeks driving around Europe (even into then communist Yugoslavia and Romania), and at least two extended trips to Canada.

Of course by the time of the 2nd cross country trip, I was involved in gaming, and took my D&D stuff along. I even convinced my younger sister to make a dungeon and GM on the trip!

My highlights from that 2nd trip were Wind Cave, Yellowstone, Mount Ranier, Crater Lake, Disney Land, the Grand Canyon, and Mesa Verde. I remember very little of the first trip because I was so young. I do remember standing on a picnic table in Yosemite waiting for my parents to get me back into the car when a bear wandered through the picnic ground, and I remember watching the bear walk right over a guy who was sleeping on the ground... (I'm guessing he never knew how close a call he had, if he had woke up and moved, it would have been gruesome - course he could have had the presence of mind to stay absolutely still). What I can't explain is why I was standing on the picnic table long enough to take all this in...

Your little presumed typo of vamily makes me wonder about vampiric family though :-)

FrankFrankhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15855679156477779666noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19815976.post-1153660359812331222006-07-23T06:12:00.000-07:002006-07-23T06:12:00.000-07:00Should have warned us! :PShould have warned us! :PGuyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16461862126469568780noreply@blogger.com
